Solidarity Network is a voluntary, not-for-profit association made up of Latin American and the Caribean residents in the UK. We will raise money through cultural events, donations, and fundraising activities to support the Latin American community in Britain and promote cultural and academic exchange between Latin America and the UK. To raise funds, Solidarity Network can collect donations from individuals and organizations, either as one-time contributions or on a recurring basis. We will also organise various fundraising events, such as galas, auctions, benefit concerts, dance events, film showings, art exhibitions, educational events, conferences, online crowdfunding campaigns and other multicultural international events. Once funds are raised, Solidarity Network will uses them to support its events and menbers of the community. These include event expenses, such as the costs associated with carrying out their initiatives, as well as expenses for office supplies and venue rentals. None of the board members will receive a salary, but they do spend money on other necessary expenses such as transport or temporary accommodation. In addition, Solidarity Network also provides assistance to members of the community who are in need, especially in desperate situations. To ensure transparency, Solidarity Network produces an annual report that details how they have raised and used their funds, which is shared with members and other interested parties. Ultimately, it is the members of the organization who decide how the funds are raised and used.
